WHY TO HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER?

Well first things first, open some bubbly and celebrate! Enjoy the first few weeks of your engagement without making any major wedding decisions. Go out with friends, video chat your future in-laws, and relish in the moment with your fiance. It's a joyous occasion and your fiance was probably nervous for weeks leading up to the proposal so give him/her some a moment to take a deep breath.

Does the idea of sourcing venues, contracting event professionals, designing a space, wedding etiquette, budgeting, negotiating, and timelines make you want to run far far away? Well that’s how I feel about doing my taxes or buying a home which is why I hire the right people who are well versed in their profession to guide me through the trenches of the unknowns for me. So why is it any different for us wedding planners? The investment is priceless when someone is dealing with something as precious as your hard earned money and your dreams. Let me say that again, the investment is priceless when someone is dealing with something as precious as YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY and YOUR DREAMS. Think about it wedding planners support you, guide you, educate you, create amazing for you, wow you, organize you, let you be you, and we do this EVERY SINGLE DAY. Weddings to us aren’t foreign, they don't frighten us, while complex and every changing an experienced wedding planner and their team, like Plan to be Wowed are competent and confident in their abilities to wow you and deliver.

Still not convinced you need a wedding planner? I can’t tell you how many times I had clients who had so many other important, monumental, life changing, stressful situations going on all while trying to plan their own wedding. Don’t believe me? Here are just a few that I have come across in my years:

  • One is studying and taking the bar exam.

  • They just bought a house!

  • They just bought a house and are renovating the house.

  • They just bought a house, are renovating, and one of the mothers is moving in.

  • The couple lives in separate states.

  • The couple lives in separate countries!

  • The couple lives in separate states and are planning their wedding in another state!

  • One or both are currently in a Masters or Doctorate Program.

  • One is in residency.

  • One is in residency and expecting a baby.

  • They already have kids so free time is non existent.

If you know the year ahead is going to be jam packed (not to mention if you’ve never planned a special event) hire a wedding planner asap! I have never had a client working with us, if anything the common feedback is “I wish I hired you sooner”. For the newly engaged couples planning their 2020 and 2021 weddings best wishes to you and your love on this phase of life you are venturing into. We can’t wait to hear from you and help make your year the most memorable yet!

Xo,

Chrissy
