Well first things first, open some bubbly and celebrate! Enjoy the first few weeks of your engagement without making any major wedding decisions. Go out with friends, video chat your future in-laws, and relish in the moment with your fiance. It's a joyous occasion and your fiance was probably nervous for weeks leading up to the proposal so give him/her some a moment to take a deep breath.

Does the idea of sourcing venues, contracting event professionals, designing a space, wedding etiquette, budgeting, negotiating, and timelines make you want to run far far away? Well that’s how I feel about doing my taxes or buying a home which is why I hire the right people who are well versed in their profession to guide me through the trenches of the unknowns for me. So why is it any different for us wedding planners? The investment is priceless when someone is dealing with something as precious as your hard earned money and your dreams. Think about it wedding planners support you, guide you, educate you, create amazing for you, wow you, organize you, let you be you, and we do this EVERY SINGLE DAY. I can’t tell you how many times I had clients who had so many other important, monumental, life changing, stressful situations going on all while trying to plan their own wedding. Don’t believe me?
