Chrissy Wolfman

Owner, Principal Planner

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Chrissy Wolfman now calls Livermore home. With over a decade of experience at top wedding venues and one of San Francisco’s most iconic hotels, she launched Plan to Be Wowed in 2018 with the vision of bringing heart, hospitality, and intentional design to luxury weddings.

Chrissy’s background in high-end hospitality, paired with her talent for elevating every detail, ensures her clients enjoy a planning experience that is both seamless and deeply personal. Known for her calm professionalism and creative "wow-me" moments, she guides couples through an organized, thoughtful process from start to finish.

She holds a B.A. in Sociology and is a Certified Wedding Planner, blending poise, expertise, and passion to turn even the most complex ideas into stunning realities.

Outside of planning weddings, Chrissy leads a full and joyful life. She’s been married to her husband Chris since 2010 and is the proud mom of two growing boys, Zac and Eli. Together, they love weekend escapes to Napa, Sonoma, Carmel, Tahoe, and Santa Cruz—always in search of a great meal. At home, Chrissy dotes on her backyard chickens, two cats, and her Australian Shepherd, Luna, who joins her in volunteering with Canine Comfort, visiting school-aged children throughout the Tri-Valley.

Whether she’s designing a celebration or making memories with her family, Chrissy is grounded in connection, care, and creating moments that matter.

Stephanie Henner

Associate Planner

Stephanie brings warmth, dedication, and a wealth of experience to the Plan to Be Wowed team. Originally from North Dakota, she has called the Bay Area home since the age of five. She earned her B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Nutrition from San Jose State University and has been immersed in the wedding industry for over six years.

Stephanie began her journey with Ardenwood Events in 2019, gaining hands-on experience in catering, bartending, and coordination. Her passion for thoughtful execution and meaningful celebrations has naturally led her to expand into the in depth planning side of events with Plan to Be Wowed.

Beyond event planning, Stephanie has a lifelong connection to the world of competitive cheerleading. For over 15 years, she has coached at her family’s gym, Nor Cal Elite, where she mentors young athletes in skill development, confidence building, and goal setting.

At the heart of everything she does—whether planning a wedding or coaching a team—is her love for people. Stephanie finds deep joy in building genuine connections with those she serves. She’s also a proud wife to her husband Shawn, and mom to their one-year-old son, Holden. Their family includes two golden retrievers, Piper and Baker.

Stephanie believes in doing work that you truly love, and she feels fortunate to be living that every day.
